Our success with Medicine for Performing and Visual Arts began with support for Georgia as a professional speaker and her rich background as an educator for the Arts. This engenders a certain knowledge base in our Practice.

We address the general health and well-being of visual artists, vocalists, musicians, dancers, actors, directors, writers and all the creatives related to the Arts. We are knowledgeable of performing artists’ lifestyles, professional activities, as well as the specific challenges and stress factors affecting the mind, body, and spirit of performing artists. Our Practice includes the treatment and prevention of injuries and conditions common to artists.

Listed below are some health issues encountered by performing artists that can benefit from Oriential Medicine (TCM) medicine/acupuncture, and services offered in the Med Spa.

The successful view built over time from Traditional Chinese Medicine embraces your body’s ability to heal naturally; with no side-effects. “Restoring balance from Root Cause imbalances” is a simple explanation for a complex effort. It works. No beliefs required.

Neurological disorders such as dystonia is especially challenging. This involves loss of fine motor control due to involuntary muscle spasms.

In order to master an instrument, most musicians spend hours practicing and perfecting technique, learning scales, arpeggios, theory and listening to others perform. Vocalists

“In actuality, the vocal tract is the entire person, since any abnormality of the psyche or soma can give rise to an abnormality of the voice. The voice is, therefore, a measure of a person's overall sense of well-being.”
                                                                                                                                                 Jamie Koufman, M.D.

For thousands of years, Oriental Medicine has presented with an enduring and enriching treatment of the whole person. Modalities offer a harmonious transcendence into balance. Over time, we are a Vocalist gateway to attain repair, depth, breadth and freshness in the foundations that enable aliveness to fully express you.

Our approach examines and works to re-balance your body systems to ensure you are ready for important performances. It is balance in the whole body that brings your vocals to optimum level.
